Why I Read — And Why I Write About It
This page is a personal map of the books that have shaped my thinking — not a reading list for popularity points, but a record of curiosity pursued with purpose.
I don’t read books because they’re bestsellers. I read them to grow. Sometimes to deepen my circle of competence, other times to deliberately expand it.
I’m drawn to books that challenge my perspective, not just reinforce what I already believe. And yes, I set aside many halfway through when they fail to offer something new or meaningful.
My choices aren’t bound by genre. I follow the questions: Why did this happen? Where did it begin? What does it mean?
This space is dedicated to the books that stayed with me — the ones I re-read, recommend, and often return to. I write summaries not just to remember, but to connect. These notes help me build loops across ideas, themes, and disciplines, forming the basis for many of the essays I write.
If you’re here, I hope these reflections serve you the way the books have served me — as tools for thinking, questioning, and learning forward.
My Library — a work in progress that reflects both a growing list of unread titles and the very real need for a second bookshelf.
